Purpose statement

We utilized 3D printing technology to design and manufacture hands and assistive devices, which we provided free of charge to individuals worldwide. To promote global accessibility, we released all designs under open-source licenses and developed a comprehensive 247-page assembly manual for the Kinetic Arm to enable replication and improvement. Our efforts included a strong focus on research and development for a low-cost bionic arm and expanding support for individuals with trans-radial arm differences. We continued hosting tours of our design center for the public, community groups, and schools, encouraging further innovation, and supported schools with STEAM programs to foster creativity and education. We also engaged with the limb difference community by sending two engineers as volunteer leaders to AMP CAMP, a four-day camp for teenagers across Australia run by Amputees NSW, marking our seventh consecutive year of participation.
