Purpose statement

During 2014-2015 RDNS Operations underwent a significant restructure to introduce an innovative and more efficient service delivery model which will allow the organisation to continue to operate competitively in a consumer driven not for profit sector. Telehealth progressed rapidly and is now very much part of 'business as usual' with some clients being monitored remotely using the latest technology in telehealth and wound management. 269 Commonwealth funded homecare packages were won during the year, taking the total number of packages held by RDNS to 409. RDNS researchers achieved onging positive outcomes in the areas of dementia, wound and medications management and telehealth. RDNS staff provided care to over 103,000 clients originating from 168 countries and raging in age from children to our oldest client of 110 years; made 2.7 million client visits and travelled 10 million kilometres. During the year the organisation's work was supported by funders, collaborators, industry partners and by the immense generosity of its donors.
