Purpose statement

Purpose statement

A charitable purpose (also called a mission or object) is the reason a charity has been set up and what its activities work towards achieving. All charities registered with the ACNC must have a charitable purpose. This purpose is usually set out in the charity's governing document.

We aim to teach and develop religious practices according to the Ukrainian Orthodox faith. The spiritual well being of a diverse age group is supported by regular church services, bible study , discussion groups and home visits (also hospitals, nursing homes) by the priest. A church choir regularly holds practices and sings at church and community celebrations. Some support is also available to new arrivals from overseas.
