Incorporated legal structures

There are several incorporated legal structures that your charity may have:

These corporations are regulated by the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations (ORIC). They usually have a name like ‘XYZ Aboriginal Corporation’.

Financial statements are prepared as required by the ACNC Act and Regulations using standards set by the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB). Medium charities can have their annual financial report either audited or reviewed.
